In 2021, MCU & UTCC provides 1 academic program: International Business and Trade Two Degree Program. New academic programs will be added year by year.

• Applicants should be high school graduates or above. Students currently studying in universities are also welcome to apply.

• English Proficiency Qualifications

  Any one of the following English test results qualify a student for admission:
  – IELTS Academic 5.5
  – TOEFL (IBT) 52
  – PTE Academic 43-50

  Note: Students whose test results don’t qualify may request an online interview to increase the possibility of being admitted.

Response time regarding Admission: Normally, the Admissions Office will reply within 2 weeks upon receipt of an application; admission is granted on a rolling basis.

Application Process:

1. Submit application materials.
2. Application Material Review: Upon receiving the application, the admission office will review it ASAP. Admission is granted on a rolling basis.
3. Entry Interview: MCU-UTCC program may invite students to do an interview. This is optional. Students may request to have one to increase the possibility to be admitted.
4. Admission Letter: Students will receive the admission result within two weeks. If all entrance requirements are met, a regular admission letter will be issued. If all the requirements except English are met, a conditional offer will be issued. Students who receive a conditional offer will be required to take English enhancement courses upon entering the program.
5. Apply for Visa and Wire Tuition Fees: After wiring the tuition fees, please send proof of payment to the MCU Thailand office ([email protected]). Students will then receive an official admission letter and may go to apply for a visa to Thailand.
6. Purchase a Flight Ticket: After purchasing a flight ticket, please inform the MCU Thailand office of requested pick-up time.
7. Accommodation Arrangements: Please email or video conference with the MCU Thailand Office to discuss accommodation requirements.
8. Welcome to MCU-UTCC program: After arriving in Thailand, submit all the original application materials to the MCU Thailand office. The materials will be returned following review.

Both MCU and UTCC’s diploma are approved by their respective Ministry of Education. Not only that, the diploma is packed with employment competitive advantages since it is also recognized by 23 countries in Europe and the Americas.

The diploma can be used worldwide. Students can apply for government positions, find employment in enterprises, apply for job promotions, and gain immigration points using the authenticated diploma.

Applicants can pay the tuition fee by remittance; more details can be checked on the online application webpage. Based on which bank services you choose, different exchange rates and service fees may be charged by your bank.

The internal review will begin after applicants submit all documents required for their application. The result will be sent 2 weeks after application submission. Applicants will receive an unconditional offer once they meet all the application requirements. Applicants who do not meet the English requirement may receive a conditional offer. Students with conditional offer will be required to take additional English courses.

For students’ safety, the university will provide contract dormitories for students during the first year of admission, which also can help them adapt to the learning environment as quickly as possible.

International students with Non-immigrant-ED visa are not allowed to seek part-time employment in Thailand. The university expects students to focus on their learning, and not risk breaking the law, engaging in a damaging situation personally or negatively affecting their school work.

Every year, according to students’ academic results, the university will provide scholarships to reward several students with excellent performance. More details are found on “Latest News page”

This is a two degree program, and the university provides trilingual training (English, Chinese, and Thai). Moreover, students have an opportunity to study in Taipei, experience high quality learning and service through internationalized curriculum and build their overseas connections.

Students may have chance to visit Ming Chuan University International College in Taipei Campus (International Business Management)  for short-term study. The schedule is contingent on students’ actual application for and receipt of a Taiwan visa. If students have some special situation and cannot head to Taiwan, they can stay in Thailand for 4 year to complete their study and still receive two degrees.
